Complete the tasks!

Quickly, Darth Vader is right behind us! We need to think fast, complete the tasks throughout this web page to successful outrun Darth Vader and his storm troopers. Today in class we will be learning about decimals and how the value changes in a number when you move them. You will complete worksheets to build up in your understanding of the material. If you complete all of the tasks, you have escaped Darth Vader! We will also be going over how to subtract multi-digit numbers with decimals as well as completing addition problems. 

What is a decimal? A decimal is a dot between an arrangement of numbers to show a fraction of that number. For example, the number 10.7 has a decimal in it, it is between the 0 and the 7! In this web quest you will have to complete a series of problems on how to move decimals and determine what kind of number that makes. The chart to your left represents the value of the decimal when it is moved over, you may refer to this when completing your assignments! Once this is completed you will move on to task number 2, now hurry, I think I hear Darth Vader!

Once you have completed your first task, you will move on to learn about how to add and subtract numbers that have decimals, once completed with these tasks you will be considered a Jedi Master and will have escaped the grasps of Darth Vader.
